Coca-Cola Hellenic
Bottling Company (CCHBC) is the second largest
bottler in the Coca-Cola System. It is primarily engaged
in the bottling, distribution and selling of products
registered under the trademark of The Coca-Coca Company.
The Coca-Cola Company has granted
the "anchor bottler" status to CCHBC. In
Romania, CCHBC operates six bottling plants (in the
cities of Bucharest, Ploiesti, Timisoara, Oradea,
Brasov and Iasi). CCHBC employs 2,500 people and has
investments worth 350 million USD. Over 12,000 Romanians
work indirectly for CCHBC. In November 2001, CCHBC
Romania has been awarded by the Romanian Chamber of
Commerce and Industries (CCIR) the "Excellence
Prize" for the results obtained in the year 2000.
