Mr Toader became Senior Partner at KPMG in Romania in October 2007. He has been with the company since 1996, joining after a period working in banking and marketing. Currently aged 39, Mr Toader represents a new generation of highly qualified and talented Romanian professionals, who have made swift progress climbing the career ladder. His colleagues consider that his rapid rise was the result of his acute business acumen, capacity to learn fast, extensive technical abilities and dedication. Mr Toader's background is in Audit and he has a particular specialism in audits of major Romanian banks and financial institutions. As Senior Partner, Mr Toader coordinates all of KPMG in Romania and Moldova's Audit, Tax and Advisory services, leading a team of over 600 staff and Partners in a business with a turnover of over 30 millions of Euros. He has an overview of all engagements and focuses on deploying KPMG's resources to serve client needs. He is responsible for developing KPMG's business strategy as well as for maintaining relationships with key clients and building new ones. He is also a member of the KPMG Central and Eastern Europe Board, which oversees the work of KPMG practices in countries throughout the region. Mr Toader has several prestigious academic qualifications, including an Executive MBA from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees, Paris as well as diplomas from University of Edinburgh School of Management, London Business School and Harvard Business School. Mr Toader is married with two young children. His hobbies include history, music and travel.
